GÜRMEN GİYİM SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş (“GÜRMEN, RAMSEY, KİP or collectively “GÜRMEN GROUP”) takes the highest level of security measures to ensure that your personal data is collected, stored, and shared in accordance with the law and to protect your privacy.

Our purpose, in accordance with Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and in line with your satisfaction, is to inform you in the most transparent way regarding the methods by which your personal data is obtained, the purposes for which it is processed, the persons with whom it is shared, the legal reasons, and your rights.

a) Data Controller

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law No. 6698”), your personal data is collected and processed by GÜRMEN GİYİM SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş (“referred to as “GÜRMEN GROUP” or “COMPANY”) as the data controller within the scope described below.

During the process, your personal data will be processed in accordance with the Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce No. 6563 and relevant legislation for the purpose of sending you commercial electronic messages  (e-mail) .

c) Purpose of Processing Personal Data

All your personal data mentioned above, such as name, surname, e-mail address, shopping history, survey, cookie records, and campaign study results collected by the COMPANY, are processed for the following purposes:

  • Execution of Company / Product / Service Loyalty Processes
  • Execution of Communication Activities
  • Receipt and Evaluation of Suggestions for Improving Business Processes
  • Execution of Customer Relationship Management Processes
  • Execution of Customer Satisfaction Activities
  • Execution of Marketing Analysis Studies
  • Execution of Advertising / Campaign / Promotion Processes
  • Execution of Marketing Processes for Products / Services
  • Providing Information to Authorized Persons, Institutions, and Organizations

ç) Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected orally, in writing, or electronically, limited to the purposes stated below;

 

  • Automatically through the Gürmen Group website,

 

Based on the following legal grounds specified in Article 5 of the Law:

 

  • Explicit consent of the data subject,
  • It is necessary to process the data for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

 

d) To Whom and For What Purpose Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred

Your collected personal data, in accordance with the personal data transfer conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of Law No. 6698, and limited to the realization of the processing purposes mentioned in section c) above and applicable to all, may be transferred to:

 

 

e) Rights of the Data Subject under Article 11 of Law No. 6698

As personal data owners, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to the Company using the methods set forth below, the COMPANY will finalize the request as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. No fee will be charged for the response provided up to ten pages. A transaction fee of 1 Turkish Lira will be charged for each page over ten pages. If the response to the application is provided on a recording medium such as a CD or flash memory, the fee that may be requested by the COMPANY will not exceed the cost of the recording medium.

 

In this context, personal data owners have the right to;

1.      Learn whether their personal data is being processed,

2.      Request information if their personal data has been processed,

3.      Learn the purpose of processing the personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,

4.      Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,

5.      Request correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing and request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,

6.      Request the deletion or destruction of personal data in the event that the reasons requiring its processing disappear, despite being processed in accordance with the Law No. 6698 and other relevant laws, and request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,

7.      Object to the emergence of a result against the person themselves by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,

8.      Request compensation for damages in case personal data is processed unlawfully.

 

You may submit your request regarding the exercise of your above-mentioned rights in Turkish, in accordance with Article 5 of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, by applying in writing with information and documents confirming your identity to the Company's address at Merter Keresteciler Sitesi Kızılcık Sk. No: 23 Güngören / Istanbul as the data controller; you may send your applications you wish to make via e-mail to gurmen@gurmen.com.tr , or via Registered Electronic Mail (KEP) to gurmengiyimas@hs01.kep.tr  .

Gürmen Group reserves the right to verify your identity to prevent the unlawful sharing of your personal data.

In your application;

1.      Your name, surname, and signature if the application is written,

2.      Your T.R. identity number for citizens of the Republic of Turkey; your nationality, passport number, or identity number (if any) for foreigners,

3.      Your residential or workplace address for notification,

4.      Your e-mail address, telephone, and fax number for notification, if any,

5.      Your subject of request,

must be included, and information and documents related to the subject, if any, must be attached to the application.
